The IETL / CoSN Illinois Chapter is a collaboration enacted in March 2013 dedicated to improve services for Illinois members of CoSN and IETL focusing and improving on Illinois education institutional need from the national and state perspective. Represented in this constituency are members of the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) a national leadership organization and IETL, Illinois' premium technologist association.

  • District may post job notices on the CoSN job board for free
  • Retiring district staff may have 1 year free CoSN membership and then $25 for all additional years for mentorship opportunities
  • Participation in CoSN surveys, and seeing results for leaders nationwide
  • Last year we sent districts E-rate reports, that was something new. So if you have an NCES number, include it on organization profile
  • Opportunity to submit a staff member for the Institutional CoSN member spotlight
  • Teaming for Transformation or to nominate staff members for national awards ( you do not need a paid membership to participate in either)
