Director of Technology Support Services
Plan, organize, direct, and lead operations and activities that support the district’s technology needs, providing strategic leadership and guidance to shape and implement the district’s technology plan in collaboration with Senior Leadership. Oversee and support the district’s network infrastructure; collaborate with stakeholder groups including administration in Teaching and Learning and Operations to plan, develop, and implement technology related professional development; and support the technical implementation of new technology initiatives. Develop, monitor, and implement processes to ensure data security and protection, including compliance with applicable legal requirements such as FERPA, PII, CIPA, COPPA, and SOPPA, and recommend changes as needed. Supervise and evaluate assigned staff, assign and review work to ensure compliance with established guidelines and procedures, provide input on the development of the annual preliminary technology budget, oversee technology budget expenditures, and monitor and evaluate the district technology plan.
